KAY, Maureen Audrey (nee Bracken) 1943-2022 – passed away at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Donald Kay of Simcoe. Loving mother & grandmother of Terri Sinden (late Normand Boisclair) of Simcoe, her son James (fiancée Alex Picott); Bill Kay (Tanya Hoar) of Pefferlaw, children Zachary & Keelan; and Jeff Kay of Brantford, children Dylan & Morgan. Dear sister of Sharon White of Bermuda, Colleen Rackliffe (Rick) of Virginia and Kelly Bracken (Bev Rushton) of Ottawa. Predeceased by her sister Donna Pedicelli. Maureen will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family. Friends are invited to share their memories of Maureen with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Friday, July 8th, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Maureen’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating. Private interment of ashes at a later date. Those wishing to donate in memory of Maureen are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of Haldimand-Norfolk.
