Matilda Swaris Aloysius, passed away peacefully in Montreal, Canada on Feb 9th 2022.
Born & raised the family in Kalutara south, Sri Lanka, later joined her family in Canada in 1979. Devoted wife of late P. D. John Aloysius, loving mother of Annesley (Shriyani), Maxie (Ramani), Merle (Dharshi), Randolph (Preethie), Malcolm (Amaranthi), Claude (Shiroma), Iris (Quintus), Shirley (Thusitha). Proud grandmother of Sherwin, Kevin, Shanaka, Randy, Shawn, Dr. Gihan, Ian, Marie, Tania, Ashan, Claudette, Ryan, Tyronne & Shanaya. Wonderful great grandmother of Kaia, Asly, Zora, Hazel, Mahali & Ruby. Adored sister of (late) Walter, (late) Elizabeth, (late) Aloysius, (late) Rita, (late) Sunny.
She will be greatly missed by family, relatives & friends. She is at peace in heaven, reunited with her husband & loved ones who have gone before.
Viewing on Monday February 14, and Tuesday February 15, from 5pm to 7pm at Urgel Bourgie, 3955, chemin de la Cote-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent, Quebec. H4N 2N6.
Due to Covid restrictions, a maximum of 50 people are allowed for the church service & burial which will take place on Wednesday February 16, 2022.
