Obituary of Marysia Janina Hopkins
Recently retired, June 10th, Infrastructure Damage Recovery Coordinator, Regional Municipality of York.
Peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home in Keswick on Monday June 20, 2022, at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife of 53 years to Terry Hopkins of Keswick, Ontario. Loving mother of Michael of Keswick, Elizabeth (Sean Nakmoto) of Huntsville and mother-in-law of Juan Quijada of Keswick. Cherished “Gramma” of Andrew, Julianna, Amelia, Caleb, and Payton. Dear sister of Marjorie Hanecak of Mississauga, Dorothy (Andy Rowny) of Barrie and the late John Zuwala. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2022 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the York Regional Police Association Hall (63 Eric T Smith Way, Aurora, Ontario). Arrangements entrusted to the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, Keswick, Ontario. In memory of Marysia, donations to the Odette Cancer Centre C/O Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre would be appreciated.
