Mary Homenick
On June 16, 2022 Mary Homenick of Mundare, formerly of Vegreville, passed away peacefully at the age of 107 years. Mary is survived by two daughters, Olga Dubuc of Edmonton and Eileen Leffler of Edmonton; three grandchildren, Dennis (Sylvie) Dubuc, Diane Leffler (Alexander Fleming), and Donna (Don) Keeler; four great-grandchildren, Nicole (Rick), Christopher (Lindy), Kevin and Cameron; four great-great-grandchildren, Steve, Kendra, Charlotte and Boston; and one sister-in-law, Anne Bilyk. Predeceased by her husband, Joe; grandson, Darren McMillan; sons-in-law, Roland and Albert; sisters, Ann, Nancy, and Doris; brothers, Peter, Steve, Nick, Mike, John, and Lloyd.
Prayers Friday, June 24, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 5705-51 Street, Vegreville. Divine Liturgy, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Vegreville. Basilian Fathers officiating with interment in Riverside Cemetery. Donations may be made to Mary Immaculate Care Centre or charity of one’s choice.
