Obituary of MARY ELEANOR KERYLUK
Mary Eleanor Keryluk
January 12, 1933 – June 1, 2022
With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Keryluk on June 1, 2022 at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 89 years.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Adam, parents John and Mary Schnerch and eleven siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Josephine Marks (Jerome) and Florence Reimer, her sister-in-law Jean Schnerch, numerous godchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mary believed in God and it was reflected in the way she lived her life. She will be remembered as a kind and generous person. She grew up in a large family and was no stranger to hard work. Her siblings could always count on her when they needed help with anything. She helped cook the meal for many family weddings before catering became popular. She was a great cook and she always had plenty of dainties on hand for visitors to enjoy. Mary was involved in her parish community and attended Mass regularly. She enjoyed going out for breakfast with friends after the Sunday Mass. She lived a full life.
Thanks to the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for the loving care Mary received during her final days.
Funeral mass to take place on June 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, 315 Munroe Avenue, with viewing an hour prior. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street.
