Mary Wiebe Kuch Saturday January 22nd 2022

Mary Wiebe (nee Kuch)
July 14, 1936 to January 22, 2022.
Mary passed away peacefully on the evening of January 22, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Luka and Olena Kuch, as well as her brothers Mike Kuch and John Kuch, and sisters Anne Negrich, and Tina Slobozian. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Alfred, and her three children Angie Stokes (Richard), Jeff Wiebe (Sheryl), Kim Gordon (Ward), along with seven grandchildren (Daniel, Adam, Lauren, Michael, Emma, Jackson, and Nicole).
Mary was born in Petlura, Manitoba, and spent her childhood on the family farm. She later moved to Regina, and then on to Winnipeg, where she met Al through her job at Shop Easy. They were married in 1963. Mary was a devoted wife and homemaker, and her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking and baking for her family, and was happiest when we were all gathered together to enjoy a meal. In retirement, Mom and Dad enjoyed extensive travels, covering much of the world.
A private celebration of life has been held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, where Mom received excellent rehabilitation care in the final year of her life.
