The death of Mary Noella (Curtis) (Calhoun) Ramsay, wife of James Ramsay of King George Highway, Miramichi, occurred on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at her residence at the age of 66. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Leona (Allison) Curtis. Mary was a homemaker who loved to paint, play bingo and sitting outside enjoying the fresh air.
Besides her husband, Mary is survived by daughter: Christine Calhoun (Billy) of Miramichi, NB; Larry Calhoun (Julie) of Sunny Corner, NB; Timothy Calhoun of Ontario; brother: Paul Curtis (Darlene) of Bellefond, NB; sister-in-law: Marilyn Curtis; grandchildren: Jonathan, Keisha, Colton and Cassidy as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Mary is predeceased by brothers: Stephen, Robert “Bobby” (Karen) and Lawrence and grandson: Devon O’Donnell.
The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Sunday, September 18, 2022, from 2-4 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11 AM with Father Dan Melanson officiating.
