Mary Pearl Desjarlais
October 25, 1953 – March 10, 2022
Mary passed away peacefully on March 10, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family. She was predeceased by her parents Phillip and Angeline Desjarlais; grandparents Frances Xaiver Desjarlais, Mary Grace Poorman; daughter Caroline; brother Bert; sisters Victoria, Rhonda, and Tara; grandson Dawson.
Mary leaves behind to mourn her children Maggie(Curtis), Parker(Brenda), Chris (Tauna), Raina; siblings Joyce (Martin), Jean, Louis(Fay), Donnie (Marion), Priscilla (Ryan), Sherlyn (Glen), Josephine (Ernie), Lonnie (Myna); numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pearl was such a loving mother, kokum, sister and friend, she had an amazing laugh, She was funny and had a great sense of humor. Pearl will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a strong Christian woman and she loved gospel music, also she loved George Jones her favorite country singer. She loved playing junk bingo, going to pow wows, sitting around the campfire and most of all spending time with her grand children.
Wake will be held Monday March 14, 2022 at 4 pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex, Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Tuesday March 15, 2021 at 11 am in the same location. She will be laid to rest in the East Cemetery, Kawacatoose First Nation.
