Obituary of Mary Lou Robbins
After a brave struggle, Mary Lou passed away at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener, on Friday, July 29, 2022, at the age of 67.
Loving partner of Tom Schnurr, devoted mother of Brock (Jenna) Parker and Kyle Parker, and proud Grannie of Jade. Dear sister of Carol (Wayne) MacIntosh, Sue (Keith) Bluer, David (Pam) Robbins, step-mom of Angela Schnurr and partner Christa, and sister-in-law of David Netzel (Margot). Mary Lou will also be remembered as a fun and caring aunt and friend to many.
Predeceased by her parents Leo and Muriel Robbins, and Brock and Kyle’s dad Tim Parker.
Mary Lou was a loyal employee with the City of Kitchener and the Region of Waterloo as a Finance and Administrative Assistant with a combined service of 34 years.
Mary Lou’s family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 4:15 p.m. A reception in the funeral home ‘s Fireside Room will follow.
