Mary’s Obituary
HAMILTON, Mary Louise – 75 of Birchtown passed away suddenly at the QE II Infirmary hospital in Halifax on Thursday March 24, 2022 with family by her side. She was a daughter of Arthur and Irma (Bower) Snow.
Mary was very active in community affairs such as the Rebeccah Lodge in Jordan Falls and she was a long time member of the Shelburne Lions Club, a dedicated volunteer at the NU2U and the Ohio Fun Trivia program.
She is survived by loving husband, Phillip, daughters; Sherry, Carla (Greg), son Owen (Angela), step-children; Ruby, Wanda (Melvin), George (Teresa), sisters; Alice, Margie and brother, Bill (Mary), grandchildren; Steven (Jen), Candice, Brittany (Trevor) and numerous great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Owen Hartley, grandson Brandon and brother Gordon.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. There will be no visitation or service but a private family committal service will take place at a later date, with burial in the St. Pauls Anglican Cemetery, Carleton Village.
Donations in Mary’s name can be made to the Shelburne Lions Club. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.huskilson.net
