Mary Josephine Ralph January 2nd 2022

RALPH, Mary Josephine (January 18, 1931 – January 2, 2022) –
Mary Josephine (Jo) Ralph passed away on January 2nd, 2022, at the Woodstock General Hospital, after a brief illness. Her much loved husband of 73 years was holding her hand and she was surrounded by loved ones.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Walter, her children Vickie (Mike) Micallef, Donna and Steven (Leslie) and her grandson Nickolas. She will also be missed by Tena Moore who brought so much joy into her life.
Jo loved dancing and taught line dancing at Milton Senior Centre for many years. She was an avid artist and loved doing barn scenes in pen and ink. Walt and Jo travelled extensively before Jo was robbed of a full life by Alzheimers in her later years. She still enjoyed day trips in the country and took her role of back seat driver seriously.
Her humour and joy lasted until the end. She was a joy to be around and was loved by everyone who came into contact with her.
A special thanks to the nurses at the Woodstock General Hospital and her home care helpers, who cared for her with compassion and understanding.
There will be a private funeral for immediate family only. A celebration of her life will be planned for a later date in Milton, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the “Alzheimer Society” is appreciated and can be made at Mary’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by cheque, through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc., 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-4238, which has been entrusted with the arrangements.
