Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Bluewater Health, Mary Jane Boyd passed away at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Hugh. Loving mother of Scott (Kim) Spaulding and family, and Kelly (Calvin) Fahs, and Rob Spaulding, and step-mother of Kathy Boyd, Michael (Sherri) Boyd, Al (Patti) Boyd, and David Boyd. Cherished grandmother of Les, Stephan, Elliott, and Sarah, Danielle, Adam, and Carly, Ryan, Jason and Shaun, and Mark and Jade, and several great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Glen (Shelly) Smith and family and sister-in-law of Irene Smith. Predeceased by her brother Bill Smith. Mary Jane enjoyed being involved in her sewing group. She met up yearly in September with her public school friends for over 70 years. Mary Jane will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Mary Jane’s wishes, no services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Salvation Army or the Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
