Mary Hartwell Tuesday January 18th 2022

Hartwell, Mary (Barbara Mary Helen)
On Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 in her 85th year. Loving wife of George Hartwell. Cherished mother of Stephanie Fulford (Martin Chartrand). Stepmother to Ted, Susan, David (Lynne) and Kim. Step-grandmother to Matthew (Diane) and Meaghan (Brent).
Mary was fond of her late brothers Glen Cummings (Doreen) and Eugene Cummings (Yolanda) and brother Douglas Cummings (Edna) and leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews from the Cummings, Fulford and Hartwell families.
Her fur babies continued to bring her great joy even after most things in life lost their lustre.
Mary was known for a wicked sense of humour, infectious laugh and feistiness till the end. She was a true extrovert who could always be found where the action was: dancing, playing bridge, making friends and enjoying summers in Muskoka and winters in Florida.
We would like to express deep appreciation to Dr Sheldon Katz for his exceptional care and kindness. We are full of gratitude to all of the steadfast caregivers of Queen’s Estate.
We will celebrate Mary’s life at a later date. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or Sleeping Children Around the World. Please see below for assistance with your donation gift.
