Fleming, Mary Elizabeth (nee Brown) –
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Monday October 10, 2022 in her 75th year. Loving wife of James Fleming who recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Loving mother of Stephen Fleming (Debbi Wiltshire), Martin Fleming (Trish), Christopher Fleming, Luke Fleming (Kim) and James Fleming (Pauline Lacelle). Dear grandmother of Jessica (Stephen Hudson), Cassandra (Tyler Zganec), Danyelle, Rachel, Joshua, Noah, Ashley O’Brien, Aliesha, Spencer, Addison, Everley and Evan McLay. Mary will also be remembered by Teresa Fleming and her extended family in Canada and England. Predeceased by her parents William and Kathleen (nee Ledger) Brown. Mary enjoyed her years working at the General & Marine Hospital in the housekeeping department. She had a great sense of humour and will be remembered by all that knew her. The family expresses their gratitude to Mary’s nurse, Tara Gate of St. Elizabeth, Dr. Janet Clarke, her physician and the assistance of her friends and family to care provided for Mary at home. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mary’s Life will be held on Saturday October 29, 2022 at 1:00p.m at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2985 6th Line, Collingwood.
