The death of Mary “Clara” Marcheterre wife of Charles Marcheterre of Esgenoôpetitj, NB, occurred at her residence on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the age of 73. Born in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Noel and Marion (Somerville) Dedam. Clara worked at various jobs over the years. She enjoyed animals, camping, travelling and cheering for her favorite ball team the Boston Red Sox.
Besides her husband, Clara is survived by daughter: Lita Richardson (David McKay) of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; sons: Ernest Page (Sarah) of New Hampshire, USA; Willis Jr. Richardson “Jerry” (Kayla) of Caribou, Maine, USA; sister: Irene Dedam (Wilbur); brothers: Everett Dedam (Diane Savoie), Chester Dedam, Norman Dedam all of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; sister-in-law: Della Dedam; brother-in-law: Garry Mitchell; grandchildren: Titus Lambert, Lucas Richardson, Dana Richardson and Ryder Richardson; great grandchildren: Darnell, Abria, Kayden and Chasity Lambert as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Clara is predeceased by daughter: Maria Page, brothers: Howard, William, Patrick and Andy; sisters: Madeline Mitchell and Cerena Richards.

At Clara’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A funeral service will be held at a later date.
