Mary was born in Winnipeg on March 22, 1920 to Leonard and Therese Berkvens. She was the fifth of ten children. The family moved to a farm near Valpoy, northeast of Ste. Left to mourn and cherish fond memories are her sister Florence Berkvens of Dauphin, six nephews and two nieces.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Dauphin Personal Care Home for their help over the past years.
