On Wednesday, July 20 2022, Mary Ann Ruypers (McCahill) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 69. Mary Ann was a lifelong reader and lover of mystery novels. She is remembered as a dedicated educator who taught business and computers at LCCVI in Petrolia for 37 years. Survived by her beloved partner Gus of over 50 years. Loved sister to her brother Neil (Diane). Devoted mother of Robyn (Jared) Wolf and Joe (Becky) Ruypers. Proud Nana to Walker, Collins, August and Callum. Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents Donald & Mary (Walker) McCahill. A celebration of life will take place at the Lion’s Hall in Petrolia from 4pm – 7pm on Monday July 25. Friends and family welcome. Donations in Mary Ann’s memory can be made to Petrolia Food Bank.
