Mary Ann began her career as an x-ray technician in Winnipeg before moving to Fort Macleod in 1976. She worked as a librarian at the RCMP Library, and as a real estate agent at McNab Realty before returning to her work as an x-ray technician in Fort Macleod and area.
For over 40 years, Mary Ann was a dedicated and active member of Trinity United Church in Fort Macleod. She regularly enjoyed the companionship of her many friends and her bridge groups.
Mary Ann loved her time working in the garden as well as cooking and baking in the kitchen. She was an exceptional host and she openly welcomed so many people into her home and into her life. She genuinely cared for everyone she encountered, and she reminded all of us to pray for all people in all situations.
Mary Ann thoroughly enjoyed golfing, skiing, and travelling – particularly to visit family in Manitoba – with Robert and her boys in the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s.
After their wedding in 2004, Mary Ann continued to enjoy travelling with Garry to many locations, again – particularly to visit family in Manitoba, along with her new extended family in Saskatchewan and Ontario – and she loved her whole family. More than can be expressed.
Mary Ann was so loved by so many. Her family was so perfectly Blessed to have her as a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, mother in-law and wife.
Mary Ann (Grandma/Mom) will be Loved and missed forever. More than can be expressed.
A funeral service date will be announced in the coming weeks.
