1936-2022
Mary Alice MacDonald of McAdam, NB, wife of the late Angus A.
MacDonald, passed away Monday morning, July 25, 2022 at Hospice
Fredericton. She was born at Lower Pokiok on August 20, 1936, a
daughter of the late Charles and Matrona (Beruk) Hudson. Mary enjoyed
knitting, crocheting and fashioning quilts but her most enjoyable
times were those spent with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Terry MacDonald (Jane), Fredericton, NB,
Jim MacDonald (Rhonda Parsons), Bedford, NS and Danny MacDonald
(Tammy), Bathurst, NB; her grandchildren, Amanda Geburt (Paul),
Michael MacDonald, Nathan MacDonald (Jordan) and Nicholas MacDonald;
two great grandchildren, Liam and Lily; her sisters, Dorothy Friesen
(Peter), Nina Johnston and Margaret Murphy (Floyd) and several nieces
and nephews.
In addition to her parents Mary was predeceased by her husband Angus
in 2017, an infant son David, two brothers, Charles Hudson and Steve
Hudson (late Joyce), a sister, Annie Anderson (late Don) and two
brothers-in-law, Lewis Barton and Orville Johnston.
Friends are invited to join the family at Rockland Cemetery on
Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. for a graveside service with Rev.
Ryan Farrell officiating.
In lieu of flowers a donation in memory of Mary to Hospice Fredericton
or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
