Walker, Marvin, a resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the age of 82. Born in Bothwell, son of Joseph and Beatrice Walker. Loving father of Robert Walker, Richelle Walker (Don), Terri Walker (Kevin). Grandfather to Melissa Lariviere (Bob), Theresa Lariviere, late Samantha Desjardins (2015), Marvin Woods (Melanie), Tom Woods, Georgia Woods, Ashley LeFore (Darren), Jody Woods (Danielle), and Cody Woods. Great-grandfather to Lauren, Jazmyn, Dani, Payton, Kaydence, Alaska, late Ashley (2015), Sydney, Aiden, Taylor, Titus, Dakota, Dracen. Dear brother to Dexter Walker (late Jean), Margaret Ann Moot (late Wesley), late Pamela Hamilton (late John), late Dennis Walker, and twin brother to Margo Zufferey (late Jean-Luc). Forever missed by his extended family and friends. Special thanks to all the nurses and P.S.W’s involved in dad’s care, and special thanks to the Continuing Care team at the CKHA.
The Walker family will receive friends and relatives at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Tuesday from 1:00-3:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Van Kesteren officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of cremated remains at Fansher Cemetery. Those wishing to leave an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Diabetes Association. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com.
