Died Saturday, February 19th, 20232, age 70 years. Beloved husband and dear friend of Dr. Judy Hunter. Loving father of Michael. Devoted stepfather and step-grandfather of Jason, Kate, Ryan, Shawn and Dylan. Dear brother of Anne, Terry and Kenny.
Martin emigrated to Canada in 1979 and in his time in Canada made many friends particularly his golfing buddies, running mates and tennis competitors. Martin and Judy moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake in 2015 and he loved his new-found home and the many friends he made in Niagara and St. Catharines.
Martin loved his family, was passionate about tennis and never forgot a good joke. His positive and happy spirit will remain with us all.
At Martin’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held in the summer. If desired as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Yonge Street Mission at www.ysm.ca.

  1. We will terribly miss you. Our laughters and fun in the tennis courts and all the sporting activities during lockdown in Covid times. Playing spec tennis and pickle bay in our driveway surrounded by snow was the most fun part, goes to show that we have to enjoy life no matter what. I said hi and bye to you in White Oaks just a day before we took off for a vacation.Playing pingpong in your garage last winter was Manny’s cherished moments of you. We are so saddened by your sudden passing. May your soul Rest In Peace.
    Judy, please stay strong…
    Zeny and Manny
