It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Martin Hannam of Jean de Baie announces his passing. Martin passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Sunday, October 9th, 2022, at the age of 73.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Rose of 52 years; sons, Derek (Wanda) and Shawn; daughters, Nicole Stewart(Gerard) and Rena Sicord(Ryan); sister-in-law, Monica Hannam: brother, Bern (Christine); 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Brady, Emily and Cole; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Lenore and Kevin Harding, Dorothy Molloy, Philomena Hackett, and Pius Young; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Martin was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Alice Hannam: parents-in-law, William and Mary O’Keefe; and brother, Morgan; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Katie and Edward White, Patrick and Helen O`Keefe, Jerome and Florence O`Keefe, Rita and Jim Barry, Genevieve and Mike McCarthy, Helen and Isadore Fitzpatrick, Paul Molloy, Ted Hackett, Mary and Wallace White and Stella Young.

Funeral mass will take place from Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Marystown on October 13, 2022 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at the Star of the Sea Cemetery in Jean De Baie, NL.
In Martin’s memory, donations may be made to the family, no flowers by request.
