It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marthe Lépine on Monday, October 03, 2022, at the age of 80.
Daughter of the late Gérard Lépine and Marie-Paule Lépine (née Lemelin), she is survived by her only brother, Père Gérard Lépine who lives in France. She will be lovingly remembered by a loyal circle of friends who relished her creativity, sense of humour and boisterous laughter. Marthe who remained single throughout her life gratefully relied on her friends for support and companionship.
She was a fervent catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. She would probably have wished to donate to her parish church. If you wish to make a donation, you may do so online or by cheque directly to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday October 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 17 1st Ave., Russell, followed by a reception in the Church Hall.
C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Marthe Lépine, survenu le lundi 03 octobre 2022, à l’âge de 80 ans.
Fille de feu Gérard Lépine et de feu Marie-Paule Lépine (née Lemelin), elle laisse dans le deuil son frère unique, le père Gérard Lépine qui vit en France. Un cercle d’amis fidèles se souviendra d’elle avec affection pour sa créativité, son sens de l’humour et son rire contagieux. Marthe, qui est restée célibataire toute sa vie, a toujours grandement apprécié le soutien et la compagnie de ses amis.
Catholique fervente, Marthe était une paroissienne de l’église Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, à Russell. Elle aurait sans doute souhaité faire un don à son église paroissiale.
