Peacefully went to the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022 at her home of Rockwood Terrace, Durham, of Mildmay in her 100th year. She is reunited with her beloved husband Elmer(2008). Loving mother of Marlene(David) Dietz of Mildmay, Ken(the late Carol) of Edmonton, AB, Audrey(Brian) McDiarmid of Mildmay and Gordon(Cathy) of Cobourg. Loved and remembered by her grandchildren Tim(Cindy), Brad(Lisa) and Jason(Susan) Dietz, Trish(Rob) Power, Wendy Mixx(John Faraon), Trevor(Shelley), Travis(Jen) and Troy(Melissa) McDiarmid, Christopher and Scott(Holly) Hill, Nicole(Brent) Cowan. Cherished great grandmother of Lucas, Aziza, Brianna(Jesse), Jaden, Eran, Bella, Tyson, Triena, Claire, Carter, Addison, Ryan, Ayla, Niamh, Kade, Jon, Bryce, Braydon, Zach, Alli, Kade, Logan, Ty, Blake, Natalie, the late Tyler and great great grandmother of Peyton. Martha is predeceased by her brothers Clarence and Harold Schlorff, sister in-law Elmina Schlorff and brother in-law Eldon Weber. She is survived by her sisters in-law Gertie Weber and Ruth Schlorff.
The family will receive friends at the Greg Roberts Funeral Home, Mildmay on Sunday, January 23 from 1:00-5:00pm. Please RSVP at www.fawcettfuneralhome.ca or by calling 888-924-2810. A private family funeral service will be held from St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday at 11:00am.
