Marlene’s family announces her peaceful passing on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. Marlene was born 83 years ago in Logan Township, a daughter of the late John Charles and Mary Margaret (Gill) Dittmer.
Beloved and cherished sister of Jacqueline Dowling. Lloyd Dittmer and Elaine and Grace and husband Ron Moreau. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Marlene is now reunited with her beloved parents and her sister-in-law Helen Dittmer (1995).
Marlene was a member of the International Gospel Centre in Kitchener, Ontario and enjoyed tending to her gardens, admiring her love for flowers and the outdoors. Marlene had a passion for photography capturing beautiful family pictures when she could among many other photos.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1pm. Interment to take place at Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
