Mark Dewayne Wixson Friday May 13th 2022

It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Mark Dewayne Wixson, surrounded by his loving family on May 13, 2022 at the Timmins and District Hospital.
Mark is survived by his wife, Kathleen (nee Bell) and their children, Ross (Stephanie), Connor (Hannah), and Jonathan (Thomas). He was the dear brother of Glenda Wilson, Janice Lessard, and Sharon Bruce (Norm). He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Sue Wixson and his brother Ross. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and many long-time friends.
He touched the lives of many people through his work, friendships and ministry. He was a loving father, husband, brother, son and friend. An optimist, a dreamer, a problem solver and talented orator. He had a zest for life, a love of learning new things, an infectious energy. He was personable, warm and loved to laugh. He was hard working. He was a man of faith with an entrepreneurial heart.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7-9 pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2022 at noon in the funeral home Chapel. Cremation will follow.
On behalf of our family, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
