Obituary of Marjorie Garlick
We announce the death of our wonderful mother and grandmother, June Garlick (nee Fuller), at the age of 90 years. She died on May 13, 2022 after a sudden and very brief illness. June was the daughter of the late Harry Fuller and Florence Chester, and spent her early years in Smiths Falls, Ontario. June is survived by her daughter Susan Musgrave and grandsons, Michael (Melanie) Garlick, Andrew (Kristine) Musgrave, and Spencer Musgrave. June is predeceased by, and now reunited with her hun, Arnold Garlick, whom she was married to for 61 years, until his death in 2015. June met her husband-to-be, Arnold, at Carleton University. As an Army wife she travelled widely over the years beginning with her marriage in Kure, Japan in 1954. She looked after her husband and raised their daughter moving to 19 homes located across Canada as well as Kanas, USA; Hereford, West Germany; and London, England. Then settling back in Ottawa in 1979. She continued to travel and ski extensively with her husband. She loved building their cottage with Arnold near Westport, Ontario. There she looked forward to visits with their long-time friends and to the annual bridge trips with the ladies. She was sad to leave behind her recent life and new found friends at the Waterford Grand in Barrhaven, Ottawa where she lived for the past year. But so happy with her family and her life well lived. A private graveside service was held Friday May 20, 2022 at the Pinecrest Cemetery where she was inurned beside her husband. In memoriam donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Marjorie
