Marjorie Weitendorf 2022

Marjorie Alvina Weitendorf, formerly of Bentinck Township, passed away at Summit Place Nursing Home in Owen Sound after years of declining health on Friday, January 21, 2022. She was 92.
Born in Bentinck Township on March 21, 1929 to the late Elmer and Sybila (nee Yandt) Monk. She worked in retail sales as well as loved being a mom. She enjoyed her gardens, especially the roses.
Survived by son Victor Weitendorf (Liliana Burgos) of Sauble Beach and daughter Linda (Robin) Bruce of Kelowna, BC. Loved grandmother of William (Adam), Cameron (Shannon), Tyson (Isabelle) and Marina. Fondly remembered by her sister Eleanor Ellis of Brantford and Elgin (Pearl) Monk of Hanover. Marjorie will be remembered by nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her beloved husband Arnold.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 10 am -10:45 am where a Memorial Celebration Service will be held at 11 am. Rev. Micol Cottrell officiating. To attend the visitation or memorial service, registration is required as space is limited due to COVID restrictions. Please call the funeral home at 519-364-3660 (between the hours of 8:30-4pm) if you did not receive an invite & wish to attend.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
