Marjorie (Marg) Weltz passed away at her home in Neustadt on September 1, 2022, in her 90th year. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Sharon (Ed) Meyer, Diane (Bob) Schaus and Janice (Ritchie) Lantz, daughter-in-law Judy Weltz, 16 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings Jeannie Weiler and Bill (Debbie) Eidt and sisters-in-law Sandy, June, Madeline, Betty and Ann. Predeceased by her parents Conrad and Lydia (Schuknecht) Eidt, daughter Brenda Foerster, son Ron Weltz and siblings Marie, Ruth, Mert, William, Gord, Delmar, Joe, Harry, Jerry, Milly, Allan, Wayne and Mike. Marg will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her love of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs. She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan. We hope the walk to buy scratch tickets is short in heaven and the porch visits are long and full of ice cream. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service. A Celebration of Marg’s Life will be held at the Neustadt Lions Park on Sunday, September 11th from 1 – 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care) or the Saugeen Hospice would be appreciated.
