Marjorie Hooper Dalziel
1940-2022
Marjorie Hooper Dalziel of Rustico, aged 81 ended her journey
through life at the Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, October 19,
2022, with her daughter and caregiver, Cheryl holding her hand. As an
award winning playwright and author, Marjorie leaves a rich legacy of
beautifully written plays and stories.
Marjorie is survived by daughters Denise, Cheryl and son,
Alfred John. She was predeceased by her parents, Noel and Jeannette (
nee Clark) Hooper of Rustico, husband, Alfred and son,
Gordon.
A special thank you to the vast team of health
care providers who cared so compassionately for Marjorie over the past
three years, including the extraordinary QEH doctors and nurses who
supported Marjorie through her final days. Your care and comfort were
greatly appreciated by both Marjorie and Cheryl.
No visitation or funeral service by personal
request.
