Marina Jean Hiscock, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.
Born on February 3, 1936, in Whiteway to parents Jethro and Catherine Harnum. In December 1954 she married her devoted and inseparable husband, William (Bill). A special love for each other that had given them a happy life together as well as a wonderful family. Her children and family were everything to her. She wanted nothing but the best for each of them and was proud to tell anyone she met about each one of them in her own special way. She was the glue that kept the family together. One of her last words were to “make sure you stay together” and recited word for word:
“A mother’s love is a blessing. No matter where you roam. Keep her while she’s living. You’ll miss her when she’s gone.”
She was a long serving senior soldier of the Salvation Army, Lower Trinity Corps.
In addition to her parents, Jethro and Catherine Harnum, she was predeceased by her loving husband, William (Bill) Hiscock of 65 Years.
