MARILYN DIANE FRANKS 1952 2022

Obituary of MARILYN DIANE FRANKS
Marilyn Diane Franks (Schultz)
December 9, 1952 – April 1, 2022
With saddened hearts we announce Marilyn’s peaceful passing with son Desi by her side.
Left to mourn are her only son Desi, daughter-in-law Allison and adored grandchildren Carter and Reese. Mother Elsie, brother Rick (Carol) Schultz and daughters, Tessa and Sierra (Brendan), brother Perry (Carol) Schultz and sons Mark (Robyn) and Bradly (Brooklyn). Sister-in-law Doreen Schultz, children Dylan and Kelsey. Nephew Daryl (Kristen) Schultz, great nephews Kai and Maverick. As well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in both the Ziesman and Schultz families. Marilyn was predeceased by her father, August and younger brother Tim.
Marilyn worked for Canada Customs and Immigration for many years in Emerson and Winnipeg forming many long-lasting friendships. After her retirement in 2010 she loved nothing more than watching and hearing about all of Carter and Reese’s activities and sharing these proud grandma moments with family and friends. She had many travel adventures including Indonesia, Greece, a cruise and many trips to Arizona to visit her mom and dad and Rick and Carol. She loved meeting her coffee friends and trips to the zoo and then going out for a burger and beer. Roasting hot dogs by the fire and being in the boat at Buffalo Point always put a smile on her face.
In true Marilyn style she wished to have her remains left to science so that others may benefit from her many struggles. Unfortunately, that option was not available and cremation has taken place. Respecting her wishes no service will take place.
If so desired, please consider donations in Marilyn’s name to Riverview Health Centre Foundation.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of MARILYN
