Obituary of Marilyn Diane Fayant
Marilyn Diane Fayant (nee Ozga), 77, of Regina, SK, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. After a short stay in hospital, Marilyn left this world, with family by her side. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Gerald (together more than 60 years); daughter Lynette (Jeff); sons Timothy and Jeffery; grandchildren Tiffany, Jay and Eric; brother Donald; as well as several extended family members and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Madeline; sister Janet; and many other loved ones.
Marilyn was a kind, generous and thoughtful person. She never missed anyone’s birthday and was never shy to give a compliment. Throughout her life she loved all animals, especially her pets, and supported the Regina Humane Society. Marilyn enjoyed her many trips to Disney in California and Florida with her son Jeffery. Going to garage sales to find a perfect collectable, doing crafts and faithfully watching her favourite soap opera, were among some of her pastimes. Marilyn enjoyed both small and large family gatherings. Her favourite time of the year was Christmas. During this holiday, she was happiest when spending time with family, enjoying a full Christmas Eve supper, as well as gift giving and all the beautiful decorations. Marilyn had a sweet tooth, enjoying pies and different types of dainties. Marilyn loved wearing and decorating with purple, her favourite colour.
No funeral service is planned. Family will celebrate Marilyn’s life privately.
