Marilyn Violet McManaman 1948 2022

It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Marilyn Violet McManaman on
Thursday, December 1, 2022 at High-Crest Nursing Home,
Springhill.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter
of the Late Frederick C. and Violet A. “Bobbie” (McLaughlin)
Willigar.
Marilyn attended Teacher’s College in
Truro, NS. She took courses at Mount Allison University in Sackville,
NB, then went on to teach school in Springhill. She enjoyed skating,
boating, swimming, fishing, gardening, dancing, bowling. Marilyn was
fond of all animals, especially her own dog, Chief. She was an an avid
fan of The Beatles and Elvis Presley.
She is survived by her daughter Virginia
McManaman; brother, Mark Willigar; nephew Marcus Williagr; niece Bobbi
Willigar; great-niece Payton Willigar; great-nephew Max Willigar; many
cousins, friends and extended family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by her husband J. David McManaman in 2009.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). Following Marilyn’s
wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take
place in the Spring.
Donations in Marilyn’s memory may be
made to the LA Animal Shelter.
