Marilyn Mary Tremblett Melvin 2022

Marilyn’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marilyn (Melvin) Tremblett announces her peaceful passing surrounded by her loving family on July 29, 2022 at the Central NL Regional Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 80 years.
Marilyn was born the youngest of six siblings to Ronald and Pauline (Fowler) Melvin and raised in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL where she worked and spent most of her life, raising two children, Rick & Marlene whom she loved dearly.
Marilyn leaves to mourn her loving daughter, Marlene; two grandchildren, Grace and Emma with whom she loved dearly; and wonderful son-in-law, Stephen. She also leaves to mourn her siblings who will miss her very much, Angela, Joan, Patrick (Shirley), Bridget (Adrian), Paula (Terry); sister-in-law, Matilda (Tremblett) Sweeney; along with many nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Marilyn is predeceased by her son, Rick (Ronald Richard) Rowsell who was also lost to cancer which was a difficult time for her, as well as losing her husband, Robert just over 2 years ago, and her brothers-in-law, Leroy Lemoine and Terry Hart.
Marilyn was a bit of a perfectionist and hard worker which showed in all that she accomplished. When she started to have homes built, she was on the site daily and of course she was the foreman.
Marilyn had an impact on everyone that she met and was blessed to know her, and her memory will remain with them always.
Not one to wear her faith on her sleeve, nonetheless, she was a faith filled person and a regular parishioner at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception which was her strength.
Visitation will take place Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
