KELLY, Marilyn Hope
Marilyn Kelly died peacefully, at Eastholme, Powassan, on Monday, February 21, 2022. She was 85 years old. Marilyn (Hayward) was the beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Kelly of Restoule; mother of David (Heather) of Beaverbank, NS, Donald of Hamilton, Douglas of Powassan, Larry of Hamilton and Patrick (Maggie) of Restoule. She will be lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren: Robert, Jennifer, Tom, Allyson, Amanda, Andy and Alison and 12 great-grandchildren. Marilyn was the dear sister Shannon Heath of South River and the late Davida Van Meer, Nelson (Roberta, dec.), Bruce and Vaughan Hayward (Donna, dec.), and sister-in-law of Earl Van Meer of Sundridge and Jean Hayward of North Bay. Marilyn worked for many years in the Restoule Post Office and was a dedicated member of Restoule United Church. Cremation has taken place. Graveside service and interment of ashes will be announced at a later date to take place at Powassan Union Cemetery. If desired, donations in memory of Marilyn are suggested to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Society.
