Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Friday, October 14, 2022, at the age of 76. Reunited with her loving husband, William “Bill” Stanton, whom she was married to for 54 years before his passing in August of 2022. Beloved mother to Michael (Gaby) Stanton of Carlisle and Karen (Peter) Marangi of Oakville. Proud grandmother to Marianna, Eva, Tyler, Nick and Jessica. Marilyn may be gone from this world but she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime. As per Marilyn’s wishes, and that of her family, a private cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to a charity close to your heart would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333.
