Obituary of Marie Rita (Cruickshank) Gourley
Marie Rita Gourley of Gagetown, NB, widow of the late Clarence W. Gourley, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, October 28, 2022. She was born in Saint John, NB, and lived in Hibernia, NB, before moving to Gagetown.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Patricia McGraw (Hector) of Saint John, NB; grandson, Thomas “T.C” Gourley (Whitney); great grandson, Jace Gourley; Irene; as well as her extended family and friends. In addition to her husband, Clarence, she was predeceased by her son, Harold Gourley; Peter and Jane Cruickshank; other family members.
Marie enjoyed music, reading and walking.
At Marie’s request there will be no visitation. A private family interment will take place in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Gagetown, at a later time. For those who wish, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice.
