Marie McLean 2022

The death of Marie Juliette (Allain) McLean, wife of the late Edward “Ned” McLean occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital July 1, 2022, at the age of 90, with her loving family at her side. Born in Newcastle NB on September 3, 1931, to the late Alyre and Marceline (Plourde) Allain.
Marie will be forever missed by her three daughters; Pauline Newman (Garfield), Dianne O’Shea, Margaret Arsenault (Danny), three sons; Barry (Stacey), Dennis, Patrick (Guylaine) all of Miramichi NB, nineteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, brother, Alcide Allain (Gemma) of Miramichi, NB, sister, Jacqueline Bowlin (Mikel) of Mount Vernon, USA and many nieces and nephews.
Marie is predeceased by one brother, Raymond Allain.
Marie was a devoted catholic. She was a homemaker and loved the home she provided for her six children and husband. Marie was a kind, loving women, nor only to her own family but to all.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home 651 King George Highway Miramichi on Sunday, July 10, 2022, from 4 PM to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Miramichi on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 2 PM. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
