It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marie-Claude at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Marie-Claude Beauvais of Cornwall; age 50 years. Beloved wife of Roger Sauvé. Loving mother of Allan Beauvais, Melissa Beauvais (Kane Hanna), and Jessica Beauvais-Sauvé. Cherished and proud grandmother of Weston, who will miss daily chats with his grandma. Dear daughter of Thérèse Beauvais (nee Lamirande), and the late Claude Beauvais. Dear sister of Chris Beauvais (Charlotte), and Sylvie Beauvais, and aunt of Jacques (Kaitlyn), Collin, Charlyze, and Christopher. Predeceased by her nephew Matthew. Marie was a devoted Funeral Director who served the Cornwall Community with the utmost compassion and care. Marie was a board member of L’ACFO SD&G, as well as Centre Charles Émile Claude, Cornwall. She will be sadly missed by all her colleagues and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt St. Cornwall (613-938-3888) on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 6-9 pm and on Tuesday from 9 am-10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Cornwall on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Baldwin House, Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
