It is with great sadness the family of Maria Borges announces her peaceful passing, in the comfort of her home, on December 6th, 2022, at the age of 83. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Domingos Borges (2015). Loving and devoted mother of Mike (Giselle) Borges and Evan (Amanda) Borges. Proud and special Avó of Kai, Cruz, Avena, and Zayley.
Maria is survived by her sister Matilde (Modesto) Azevedo and their children Virginia and Zefram. Maria is survived by her siblings in Portugal, Erene Camarinha, Laurinda Moura, Arnaldo Marta, and Luisa Goncalves.
Maria is predeceased by her parents Amilcar Marta and Jose Marta.
Maria will be remembered for her selfless love, her generosity, her unconditional love for her family and always taking care of those surrounding her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9th, 2022 from 6:00p.m.- 9:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 10th, 2022 at 10:00a.m. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Strathroy.
