Obituary
Eni lived a life full of adventure that reached across the globe. She loved God and was blessed with joy. She was never shy and had the most unique way of bringing laughter to a room. When she danced, she did not hold back, it was an expression of her vitality and joy.
She was born in São Paulo, Brazil, but her heart was in Rio de Janeiro where she grew into a beautiful lady. She married in 1974 and traveled with her husband Amado Garcia to Australia where they had two sons Stephen and David. In 1979 they voyaged to Canada where she had a girl, Veronica. Ten years later she welcomed Amanda as a daughter, who later married her son David and officially became a member of the family. She was then blessed with 14 grandchildren; Elicia, Catalina, Michael, Christina, Mateo, Hannah, Noah, Thomas, Nathaniel, Monica, Rita, Tobias, Seraphina, and Joseph.
Back in Brazil, during a time her mother fell ill, she teamed up with her sister to divide the household duties. The sisters alternated weekly between cooking and cleaning. Since she did not like to clean, she ensured the meals she prepared were no less than extraordinary and her family lamented the weeks she missed. Needless to say, her daunting dish chore became a thing of the past. This blessing continued into her marriage, where her husband assumed the role as the dishwasher, and her meals were always made with love.
It was difficult to feel anything negative in her presence since her cheerful nature permeated the room and she went out of her way to spread joy and fill tummies. Though her final days were spent lying in her bed after battling an attack on her mind, we will forever remember her dancing with all her might!
