It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, & Friend.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Francesco; son Carmine (Adele) their children Francesco, Stefano, daughter Ingrid (Carlo) their children Gianluca, Isabella, Samantha, Cody, and daughter Rina (Richard) their children Sofia, Olivia, Sebastian, Emma and Breanna. Her sister Nina (Fred), brother, Tony (Letizia), sister, Ella (Carmelo), their beautiful families, and extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends in Canada & Italy.
Born in Sarno, Provincia di Salerno, Italy, August 15th, 1932, immigrated to Canada as a young teen. Determined to make a better life for her family, with her husband, Francesco, Mom worked tirelessly first at Nelson Cleaners, then as owner of Bianca Maria Italian Delicatessen for more than 33 years. Mom was a force of nature, a champion of the underdog, and a successful business woman who gave back selflessly to her church and the community around her.
A true humanitarian and a woman of devout faith, we feel so profoundly blessed that we were chosen to be her children.
Prayers will be offered at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, June 8th, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 555 S. Slocan St. Vancouver, BC., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9th, at 11:00 am. You may view the Funeral Mass at www.legacystreaming.com/kearney/
