Nee Lafrenière
Passed away peacefully on April 12th, 2022 surrounded by her family, at the age of 88. Reunited with her husband of 64 years, Jean-Marie Isabelle (2018) and daughter Anne (2012). Loving mother of Yves (Rita), Line (the late Scott Laird), Marc (Shelley), the late Anne and France (Jay Tunks). Cherished grandmother to Denise (Steven), Renée, Melanie (Jason), Gabrielle (Spencer), Mitchell, Emilie, and Eric. Proud great-grandmother to Jackson, Austin, Ethan, Colton, and Oliver. Will be missed by many extended family, and friends.
Marguerite was a teacher before starting her family with her beloved husband Jean-Marie. She dedicated herself to her husband and family. Marguerite was a member of the Women’s Catholic League and volunteered for many associations through St Jerome Church.
The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff at Seasons Amherstburg (Memory Care Unit) for their outstanding care and service.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL, Central Chapel, 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. 519-253-7234. Visitation to take place on Monday April 18th, 2022 from 6:30pm-9pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday April 19th at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Cremation to follow. Burial to take place at a later date at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave). In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor/ Es County. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared at www.windsorchapel.com.
