Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marguerite Elsie Marshall at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday May 24, 2022. Born in Mayfield, PEI, she was a daughter of the late James and Annabelle (Doiron) Davey and the wife of the late Kenneth Marshall. Marguerite was very active, and was involved with the Irving Pulp and Paper bowling team, the K.V. Seniors, the Thursday Night Club Card, she enjoyed playing Cribbage, knitting, Christmas socks, and listening to country music. Marguerite is survived by her sons: Raymond Marshall (Paula) of Barnesville, Wayne Marshall (Angie) of Salt Springs, Allen Marshall (Arlene) and Leslie Marshall, all of PEI; her daughters: Karen Adams (Jerry) of Willow Grove, and Marilyn MacKenzie (Allen) of Bloomfield, NB; her brother Ernie Davey (Therese) of PEI; her daughter-in-law Brenda Davey of PEI; her sister-in-law Elaine Davey of Saint John; as well as by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members and good friends. As well as by her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by her son Douglas Davey; her brothers: Ricky Davey, Bobby Davey (Dora), and Lester Davey & Arthur Davey in infancy; her sisters: Marie Fobert (Gilbert), Agnes McGregor (Roland), and Myrtle Davey in infancy; and her son-in-law Barry MacKenzie. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). Visitation will be held on Sunday May 29, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm; a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Monday May 30, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick or the Daeka Care Facility in Hampton, NB would be appreciated by the family.
