Margaret Goerzen
Passed Dec 21, 2022
Margaret Goerzen (nee Neufeld) was born June 29, 1931 in Schoenhorst, Ukraine. She immigrated to Canada in 1950 along with other members of her family to Vineland where she eventually met her future husband, John Goerzen, married in 1952. Margret is predeceased by her husband and all the other members of her family.
She began the next stage of a wonderful life as she and her sisters began to have families. She is survived by her children John (Mary), Edward (Carolyn), Anthony (Jacqueline) and Catharine (Ken). Grandchildren Jeff, Rebecca, Ben, Luke, Aaron, Frances, Adrian and Dana, also, great grandchild Everly.
She was an active member of St Catharines United Mennonite Church serving in the many functions created by the women’s groups.
We would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Pleasant Manor who cared for Mom so lovingly over the past few years and to everyone who has been so kind in helping Mom. So many people have told us how much she was loved, and we are sure she felt your love right up until her passing.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for the summer.

We offer our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Margaret
