Obituary of Margaret (Peggy) Kempel
Peggy passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the age of 77.
Peggy is lovingly remembered by her sister Anita Hecktus, brothers Jim (Christine), Ray (Selma), Ron (Brenda), John (Brenda), sister-in-law Audrey, and life-long friends Liz and Jack McKerrow. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her parents Wendeline (nee Kittel) and Christian Kempel, brothers Francis, Joe (Betty), Bill, Claude, Gordy, Tom (Eileen), Bob (Marg), sisters Betty Kennedy (Neil) and Joyce Kempel SSND, and brother-in-law Ken Hecktus.
Peggy retired from Lear Canada after 40 years of service and was a statistician for the Inter-City Fastball League of Eastern Canada. A special thank you is extended to Peggy’s neighbours for their help and concern over the years.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo will follow.
