The graveside services for sisters Annabel Crane and
Jane Parker will be held on Friday June 17, 2022. Annabel’s
interment of ashes will be held at 1:00 PM in Lorne Valley Cemetery,
Lorne Valley. Jane’s interment of ashes will then be held at
2:00 PM in St. David’s Cemetery, Georgetown. A reception
will follow at St. David’s United Church Hall, Georgetown.
The family of Annabel and Jane would like to welcome all family and
friends to attend the graveside services and/or
reception.
The death occurred at the Beach Grove Home on Tuesday, March
1, 2022, of Margaret “Jane” Parker. Jane was the beloved
wife of the late Frank Parker. Born in Lorne Valley, PEI on November
15, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Munro and Elsie (Ferguson)
McGrath. Dear mother of Wade (Elizabeth Thurber) Georgetown Royalty,
Scott (Bethanne MacConnell), Vegreville, Alberta, Trent, Georgetown
Royalty, Todd (Glynis), Wirral, New Brunswick, and Gina,
Charlottetown. Loving grandmother of Allie (Matthew), Brandi, Nadine,
Cole (Ally), Kristen (Travis), and Kelsey (Kyle). Great grandmother to
Shyia, Khloe, Casen, Sawyer, Saydee, and Riley. Jane is also survived
by her brother Alton McGrath, sisters-in-law Muriel McGrath, Mary
Parker, and Jean McGrath, as well as all her nieces, nephews, and
cousins. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Lisa; brothers Heath,
Ted, Winston, and John; sisters Annabel Crane, Joan McGrath and Mae
LoGalbo; and, nephew Lea Crane.
At
Jane’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. A
graveside service and interment of ashes will be held at a later date
in the St. David’s Cemetery Georgetown. Cremation and burial
arrangements entrusted to the Ferguson Logan Funeral Home, Montague.
Jane’s family extends their appreciation to the Staff of the
Beach Grove Home for the care she received. Memorial donations may be
made to the St. David’s Cemetery Georgetown.
