It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Margaret J. Kilfoy of Little Bay announces her passing. Margaret passed away at her home in Little Bay on Monday, December 19th, 2022, at the age of 68.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband, Chester of 51 years; children, Claude Kilfoy (Barb) of Little Bay, Lenore Brennan (Rod) of Paradise and Justin Kilfoy (Beth) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, Brittany (Curtis), Courtney (Colten), Claudia, Emma, Riley and Hailey; great-grandchildren, Logan and Rowan; siblings, Levi Jorgensen (Sheila) of Marystown, Blanche Planke (George) of Port Au Bras, Russ Jorgensen of Port Au Bras and Alvin Jorgensen (Bonnie) of Lewins Cove; brothers-in-law, Bill Mullins of Creston South and Jim Kilfoy (Peggy) of Little Bay; sisters-in-law, Margaret Riggs (Andy) of Burin, Susanna Pickett of Centreville and Shirley Kennedy (Maurice) of PEI; plus a large circle of family and friends.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Rebecca & Albert Jorgensen; parents-in-law, Catherine & Dennis Kilfoy; twin sister, Hazel Jorgensen; sister, Mabel Mullins; and brothers-in-law, Joseph Kilfoy and Lloyd Pickett.
The Kilfoy Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Marystown on

A Prayer Vigil will be held at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Marystown on Thursday, December 22nd at 8pm.
Cremation to follow.
Funeral mass and inurnment is being planned for Spring 2023.
In-lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to The Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation.
