HOWELL, Margaret Grace (nee Learn) of Fonthill passed away in Port Colborne on January 17, 2022 in her 99th year.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Roszell (James) of Hillsburgh, son-in-law James Cox (Sharon) of Port Colborne, four grandchildren Lenora Banfield (Shane) of East Garafraxa, Owen Roszell (Val) of Kitchener, Karen Van Kralingen (Chrisrobert) of Wainfleet and Heather Cox (Chris) of Port Colborne, six great-grandchildren T.J. Banfield, Shanelle Banfield, Daile Banfield, and Jack Banfield, Robert James Van Kralingen and Caitlynn Van Kralingen, several nieces and nephews, step-children, and step-grandchildren.
She is also survived by several half brothers and sisters.
Margaret was predeceased by her daughter Dianne (Winteringham) Cox (2003), parents Macklem and Grace (Damude) Learn, stepmother Vera Comfort, her first husband John (Jack) O. Winteringham (1975), her husband Andy H. Anderson (1993) and her husband Fred E. Howell (2018), her brothers John Learn and Robert Learn.
Margaret was a member of Fonthill Baptist Church, the Good Cheer Class of the Fonthill Baptist Church and the John Deere Retirees Association. She was employed as secretary for several years in the Fonthill Public schools.
She is dearly loved and will be missed.
Cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
